Villa Alejandro, Boquete – Frequently Asked Questions

To make a reservation we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount.
Please send a scan of the transfer to our WhatsApp to confirm your reservation.

The balance is paid at check-in.

Payment forms: cash, credit card (fee of 7% in addition) or by transfer to our Bank account (Banco General).

You can cancel without reason up to 14 days before arrival and you will receive the full amount back immediately. If you cancel within 14 days or less of your arrival the deposit will not be refunded.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the latest. 

From 8:00 a.m. you can leave your luggage at any time and use our lobby, common areas, our pleasant terrace or do your private activities until the accommodation is ready to check in.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Prices of the accommodation depend on availability, dates and season. You can view availability and rates on our accommodation pages. Alternatively, check with our reception team via Whatsapp below or our contact form, who will be delighted to help you.

We have a minimum stay of one night and a maximum short-term stay of 30 days. If you would like to stay longer, please get in touch and we will check for availability and provide a bespoke rental rate for you.

Villa Alejandro & La Residencia welcomes families with children. We have a two-bedroom family suite at Villa Alejandro and a two-bedroom family cottage. We also have a two-bed room in the Residencia.

The other casitas and apartments are designed for two people, however, we can add an extra bed if requested at the time of booking. For children under 14 years of age, this is free. For children and adults over 14, there is a $19.50 supplement / per person per night.

Are you pet-friendly?

Although we love animals, pets are NOT ALLOWED.

Villa Alejandro and La Residencia do not have a restaurant. Both places have a large, well-equipped kitchen that you can use during your stay if you are staying in a hotel room. There is enough space to store any foodstuffs you bring or buy during your stay.  

At Villa Alejandro, The Residence, Río Verde and El Cielo the apartments and casitas have fully equipped kitchenettes. 

There are many restaurants nearby and within walking distance of our locations. 

If you wish to order food for dinner, some local restaurants offer delivery service. We will be happy to provide you with the phone number and directions.

Do you offer a laundry service?

Yes we offer laundry service at a cost of $9.50 per load. Ask our reception team for more information. 

Enjoying the best location in Bajo Boquete, Villa Alejandro is just a four-minute walk into town.

La Residencia by Villa Alejandro is just 10 minutes walking to the Bajo Boquete center.

Rio Verde by Villa Alejandro is just 7 minutes drive from downton Boquete .

El Cielo is just a 4 minute walk to Boquete downtown.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy a fast and stable fiber optic wifi ( 1000 mbps) Perfect if you need to stay in touch with the office or family.

We also offer cable channels from across the globe, Netflix and Spotify in every accommodation.

High-quality towels and bed linen are provided, as are complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer so that you can pack lighter! All our beds have orthopaedic mattresses to ensure a great night’s sleep.

Visitors from all countries are welcome to visit Panama.

If you are vaccinated you do not have to present a negative COVID-19 test for entry. You must provide physical or digital proof that you have received 3 doses 14 days or more before you travel. There is an exception for Janssen from Johnson & Johnson vaccinations, for which the application of 2 (two) doses is considered complete.

If you are a non-vaccinated traveler to Panama or have only a partial vaccination dose you must present a negative COVID-19 test for entry. For more information on entry and testing requirements, refer to the Prior to Traveling Tab.

Tourists can enter Panama for a maximum of 90 days without needing a visa. However, you will need a valid passport.

Panama is known to be one of the safest countries in Latin America. It is considered safe for tourists and travelers and it is also a safe country to relocate or retire to for Expats. Panama’s high level of safety is a product of Panama being both economically and politically stable.

Are there any special rules to follow at Villa Alejandro, The Residence, Rio Verde & El Cielo?

No shoes inside, slippers will be provided.

No parties.

No smoking.

No pets allowed.
