Booking conditions and policies

Direct Bookings

To make a direct reservation with the assistance of our reception team by Whatsapp, phonecall or via email, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. Once the transaction has been made, please send us a scan of the transaction via WhatsApp to confirm the reservation.
The outstanding balance of the other 50% must be paid at the time of check-in.

Last minute offers requires a payment of 100% to confirm the reservation.

Direct reservation payment methods:
Cash, Yappy, Bank transaction to our Bank account in Panama
, Credit card Visa or Mastercard (a fee of 7% will be charged in addition by using a credit card), or PayPal ( a fee of 5% will be charged in addition by using PayPal as payment method for direct bookings)

Website Bookings

Reservations made through the website require 100% payment of the amount to be processed. Reservations made through the website can only be made by the booker themselves (this means that dates, type of accommodation, number of guests and payment method for the reservation are chosen by booker’s responsibility).

Payment methods for website:

Paypal account transfer or using your credit card inside the Paypal payment gateway***.

**At the time of making a reservation through our website and using the payment methods shown on the page:
1. Direct transfer to our Paypal account.
2. Entering the credit card information in the paypal payment gateway

***When the booker enters their credit card information within the PayPal payment gateway, their payment will be converted into a Paypal transaction (This means, that the booker’s credit card payment will be considered as a Paypal payment). Therefore the booker who use the credit card accepts and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Paypal platform.

Cancellations

The booker can cancel without reason up to 14 days prior to arrival and the amount paid will be refunded in full. If the booker cancels less than 14 days prior to arrival, the amount paid will not be refunded.

Refunds:

Direct Booking refunds: In case of a direct booking refund, it will be made by bank transfer to the booker’s bank account as long as the booker’s bank is within Panama. A refund outside Panama is only possible by Paypal according to the terms and conditions of the Paypal platform. Refunds directly to the credit card number of the booker are not possible.

Website refunds by Paypal and credit card payments inside Paypal gateway: Booker will assume the Paypal fee ( Paypal fee is approximately 3-5% per transaction.) In case of a refund, the Paypal transaction fee is not refundable. Refunds of website bookings paid by credit card using the Paypal gateway can be done only by the Paypal platform. Refunds directly to the credit card number of the booker are not possible, website refunds only possible by Paypal transaction.

Disclaimer: The refund process can take up to 4 weeks before the transaction becomes effective.

Check-in/Check-out Times

Check-in from 3 pm latest by 9:30 p.m.

If you arrive before 3:00 p.m., don’t worry! Our doors open by 8:00 a.m. and you can leave your luggage in the lobby and go do some activity if you wish or you can also use the common areas (lobby, terrace, living room, dining room) and wait until your accommodation is ready for check-in.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. at the latest. 

If you have plans for the day of your departure, don’t worry! You can check out of your room, leave your bags in the lobby and go do your activities without any problem. Or you can stay in our facilities using the common areas (lobby, living room, terrace, dining room) until it is time for you to leave. Let us know a few minutes before your departure so we can go do the departure inspection.

All Villa Alejandro Hotels provide a relaxed and intimate atmosphere with the following house rules. Please read before booking your stay.

  • No shoes are allowed inside the accommodation. Slippers are provided.
  • No parties or events are allowed.
  • Please respect quiet hours between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking
  • No pets allowed.
